In partnership with Myrina, a company in Spain that manufactures post-mastectomy bras, my team and I helped build an 3D scanning application that helps Myrina build cheap and affordable prosthesis for women who received mastectomies
What We Did
There were two main steps in creating the 3D-scanning website
Documentation, Research, and Prototyping
Our team started with documentation and research. This was done to figure out the best ways to design and build the 3D scanning application. We first started with a design of a mobile application but learned that a web-scanning application would be more effective. During this process, I helped keep consistent communication and scheduling between our team and our main stakeholders. I also helped create figma prototypes and complete documentation.
Development and Testing
Once all of the documentation, research, and prototyping were completed, we started the development phase. The development is not yet completed, but it is nearly done. During this phase, I helped with the development schedule, UI development, and communication with stakeholders. Below is a brief analysis of our website and our project, but I cannot link the website since it has not been deployed yet, and due to security protocols, the website is password protected.
